Today while at my sons pulmonology apt the fire alarms went off. My son was in an accident 2 weeks ago and is nonweight bearing and is in a wheelchair. One of the receptionist gladly carried his wheelchair down the stairs so I could carry my child. I can’t thank you enough. I wish I knew his name but he was awesome and made my son feel not so scared. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart, little things go along way.
I do recommend UMASS Memorial Medical Center but I am extremely dissatisfied with their portal. Every single time I try to schedule a new patient appointment it ends up getting canceled. It only gets cancelled because the portal is NOT synced up with the physicians schedules. Why offer an appointment with specific physicians if I’m going to get a call back telling me it’s been canceled due to the physician not being able to accept new patients OR the day isn’t available and they’re booked solid for the next few months? We want to thank the amazing ICU team at UMass Worcester for the loving care our son received. They sent Sammy on his journey with dignity and respect, speaking directly to him explaining every procedure they were preforming on him. Their professionalism was exemplary. The nursing staff not only took care our Sammy’s every need but ours too. Nurses truly are angels on earth, again thank you for making his last moments so peaceful.

There’s not enough words to say how grateful my family and I are for the great care my sister Ana received in ICU 3west for 6 months and 31 surgeries the entire staff from nurses, nursing assistance, doctors, surgical team, Anesthesia team, RT, NP, receptionist, maintenance lady(Margarita) and food servers (not the food..lol) We thank you all for being so devoted ❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻 — with Ana Costa.
