UMASS saved my life. I went from appearing to be perfectly healthy to urgently needing brain surgery for a tumor. Within hours post surgery, I was able to get into a chair and sit-up, recognize and speak with family, and walk again. For me it was a miracle of compassion, medical skill, and technology. I will never forget UMASS Memorial. Without hat is the day of seizures due to brain tumor and with hat was 10 days post seizure, 6 days post surgery.

love my PCP Dr. Malabika Dey But the rest of them stink! She's the only reason I stay a part of it . Then the poor lady can't even do her own hiring for staff . She's had some real doseys in the past . This has to hurt her business and isn't right at all .

I'm Definitely not a fan of being in the hospital but when I was younger they helped me out and they also helped a friend of mine when he was in so I recommend umass on lake Avenue
Brought our son there on March 5th when he wasn't feeling well. Rapid strep test negative. March 21st we get a letter asking us to call. After being transferred to voicemail 3 times someone finally tells us he was positve for strep. No phonecall from them at all. Weeks later we find out. God forbid it was Covid 19, they would be responsible for an outbreak. Unacceptable. Avoid at all costs.
