If no stars was an option, they would deserve that. For a new customer, they have the ABSOLUTE worst service I have ever dealt with. Inaccurate contract, no delivery, no installation, and no communication. You CANNOT reach anyone through the toll-free number, email, or via the LIVE CHAT on their website. Management should be ashamed of their performance from top to bottom.
AmeriGas in northern Arizona does not seem to be able to meet delivery demands leaving customers in the cold ( literally). There is no functioning system of customer service or problem resolution just people who make promises that are not kept. It almost appears that they have a corporate policy of driving away existing customers for reasons that escape me and others! Amerigas has me deeply frustrated and cold. We are renting a house whose propane take is rented from the company and decided to continue using their services since they owned the tank. I called Amerigas over a month ago to set up an account and to schedule a delivery. On three separate days I called and waited on hold for OVER 2 hours only for them to hang up. Wow!! After reading all of these reviews I now understand why the hold times for Amerigas are upwards of 30 minutes every time I call. WE ARE ALL CALLING TO TRY TO GET OUR TANKS FILLED BECAUSE THEY NEVER SHOW UP!! We are new to Amerigas as they acquired the regional propane company we had used for 13 years and from whom we always received great service. Amerigas propane service is the worst I have ever encountered. They dont care about customers and their needs. They tell you to do one thing and they dont live up to their customers needs. Some of the reps are helpful and others have dont care attitude. They lied about about my delivery several times and didnt call notify me when that I was taken off the route and dont know when they can get me back on. We have a commercial A/C and ordered propane on Dec. 8th on their website. The delivery was scheduled between Dec. 9th and Dec. 18th. The delivery has been pushed out several times and now shows a schedule of 12/24 or 12/25. It is now 12/28. We are running out propane and our tenants are not going to have heat or hot water. Through repeated calls and being on hold for extended periods then being dropped, we have not been able to find out the real date of our delivery. Our Faust Fuels was bought out by Amerigas. Please do not use this company. We decided to have a generator put in around July 2020. It was scheduled for installation in September 2020. Amerigas missed multiple appointments. They just never showed up. We have spent countless hours on the phone. They finally installed the 320 tank in October and hooked it up to the generator. The local, small, efficient provider was bought out by this national distributor. You find yourself hand and foot tied to the worst ever service. The tank refill order was made Dec. 4th. I gave my phone number and the code to access the property in case nobody was on site. When I called back 10 days later, I was told that the truck came but that the fence was closed.
