Never delivered on time. Paid twice a $300 fee for 24/h emergency delivery that they never send! Don't even try speaking with people on phones - tons of lies and will put you on hold for hours. Nobody knows anything! They should not be in business. I hope someone will start a class-action lawsuit.
I just cancelled my account as my home heating propane tanks are just about empty (below 5%) and I have been asking, then pleading, for delivery for a month. I was promised an emergency delivery this week that never came. So I contracted with local vendor who are coming today with new tanks and gas. I don’t want to leave even a 1 star review! Amerigas has the worst service! They shrug you off don’t answer your questions offer $25 credit when they charge you exorbitant Tate’s for propane. Can’t explain why properties next door to each other ( tanks are 200 yards apart) are charged 40 cents a gallon difference. They say it’s the usage but the one charged the lowest per gal amount uses way less than the other. I called on a Monday to schedule a site survey. The guy I talked to said someone will be there the following Wednesday between 1pm-4pm. I asked if they could call me 20min prior so that I have time to get home from work. He said that should not be an issue at all. Come Wednesday it's close to 3:30pm and no call yet. amerigas is one of the most pathetic companies in existence. worthless customer service, incompetent drivers and greedy lying executives. I would not use amerigas unless you want to spend your winter in the cold because of their lack of organization and 100% incompetence.
When I went to call my propane supplier for a delivery I found out they were taken over by AmeriGas. I tried calling for several days and couldn’t get through after over an hour each time. Then I did it online and after a week and half still no delivery. I have been calling every day and they say the same response that it’s being expedited and still nothing. THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!!!!!!! I ordered my gas on 12/15/20. Expected delivery was between 12/16 and 12/24/20. It is now 1/6/2021 and I still don't have gas. I have called 9 times and my delivery was supposedly expedited. They ruined my holiday plans and remain without gas to cook and heat in the house. This company needs to be held accountable. I have spent additional money trying to provide a livable environment.
Contacted Amerigas SEVEN times over the course of 2 1/2 weeks to fill tank because we were low on propane. Despite repeated assurances that the tank would be filled ASAP it never was. When the tank got down to 5%, we found a new propane company that came right out and filled the tank. We cancelled our account.
We are supposed to be on a regular scheduled route for gas delivery, yet once again our tank has run dry. We started calling in to get delivery 7 days ago, and have been following up regularly. We have been hung up on more than once, promised returned calls, promised delivery would be expedited, and yet we are still without gas, and have yet had them initiate any communication to us.
