Try to avoid if you are hungry or are looking for good drink – Really bad food service and drinks. Once they know you are not satisfied and are not going to praise their funny versions of Mexican food you are put on IGNORE but you still have to pay the hefty bill.
Fun Vibe and Great Food – Mamacita, in my opinion, is the best Mexican restaurant in San Francisco. Every time I eat there, I leave happy, full and a little drunk. Mamacita is located smack dab in the middle of the Marina district on Chestnut. The restaurant is one long narrow room, nicely decorated with hanging metal lights, cool art and warm tones. Mamacita Restaurant & Bar is fun and has delicious food. Mamacita has some of the best food and service! It is affordable, trendy and lively! Very young atomosphere and great service! I highly recommend this restaurant! One of the best places in the neighborhood!!
Mamacita Restaurant & Bar is overpriced but tasty! This place is so delicious! I had some sort of variation on an enchilada here and it totally blew my mind. The prices are steep -- it's not your typical Mexican place, but more of a Marina date-night spin on Mexican. That said, I had a good time here for a friend's birthday. I've come back on several occasions for drinks, which are also overpriced but tasty!
great place – everything here is nice. the people are very friendly and very helpful. i love the food. i will recommend this to my friends and relatives. :D
Awesome Guac – I dig the vibe, the people, and the food. Drinks were okay which is why it only gets 4 stars. And of course I feel whack for going to Mexican food outside of the mission, but this place is worth it.
fish tacos and mojitos.... yumm! – yumm, yumm, and yumm. everything is great. everyone here is nice. you'll love it! try the guacamole and the fish tacos and the mojitos are divine.
Great food. WORST WAIT even though we had reservations! – I made a reservation I WEEK ahead for a friend and me. We arrived 5 minutes early for our 8pm reservation - we waited 50 minutes for our table! (Meanwhile there was one 2-top and two 4-top tables empty the entire length of our wait). UNACCEPTABLE.
