What a fantastic company. Not only does Mag Lite make an excellent product,whenever there has been a problem with one of the many Mag Lites we own,the company has fixed it,no problem. Very few companies today take as good care of their customers as this one

Bought a new ml300l. It was maglight as usual but better with the added functions. I put it by the front door to use at night taking the trash and dog out but less than a week of using it it shuts off after 6 seconds and take 3 to turn back on. It will do this several times and may eventually stay on. Not impressed with mag. Keep it simple and solid.if you're gonna change it and make it fancy at least make sure I works like a mag should.

My Maglite 2D LED flashlight died after a year. Zero battery corrosion or abuse of any kind. Tried new batteries and nothing. Maglite warranty department will SELL me a replacement switch for $10 or I can ship to them, on my dime, and pay $15 and they will fix it. That is Maglite's definition of "limited lifetime warranty". Buyer beware... Maglite is not standing behind their products like they used to. Better off buying a $10 knockoff and get the same level of quality without a warranty. Grrrr......
Was in the major floods in Columbia, SC this week. Left my old Mag Lite in my car, which got submerged in the flood. Next day, went to hardware store to get another one and came back to clear out car of possessions. Was about to toss the flash light in the trash bag but reflexively turned it in. IT WORKED after 12 hours under water. Love you, Mag Lite! You make me feel safer in a flooding world!

A GOOD FLASHLIGHT BUT THEY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BATTERIES CORRODING INSIDE. I HAVE TWO OF THEM AND BOTH REUIRE WARRANTY AS THE BRAND NAME BATTERIES CORRODED INSIDE AND HAVE TO BE SENT AWAY TO BE REPAIRED. ALSO THEY DO NOT SHOW A LISTING FOR CANADA ON THEIR SERVICE CENTRE LISTING FOR WARRANTY WORK. SECOND RATE SERVICE INFORMATION FOR US CANADIANS.
