Just asking, I have a 3d and 2d first generation maglite, just wanna ask, do they have the same identical face caps? in terms of size and diameter, are they the same?

i have several mag-lites only had trouble with a couple AA flashlite switches i got new ones from company and put them in and have had no trouble since
I'm very disappointed in the quality of the Maglite 2AA LED flashlight. I have one about a year old that has stop working. I checked the warranty, and the warranty doesn't cover anything that could go wrong. This was my last purchase, I will be buying a different brand
Got one because of rep and warranty but broken switch doesn't qualify. Pay to send it in or pay for switch "kit" (which they have ready cause it must happen a lot). Plenty of flashlights around, time to go shopping. At least the mag is mostly recyclable.
I'll just keep my 30+ old 6D cell light. Updated the bulb. Great flashlight back in the day.
I've had my Mag-lite for 20 years and thought I would have to toss it. After reading your website, and making a quick phone call, I found that it was still under warranty. I'm so thankful that I have my Mag-lite back and in perfect condition. Thank you.
I have a 3 year old Mag-lite and the rubber cap went missing on the switch?? Well contacted Service and asked how I could buy a new one, they replied I could not buy one, they would send me a new one for free... Great customer service, that's why you buy USA and not the Knock-Off junk...
