Traded in my old incandescent AA for a spankin' new Mini Mag Lite pro+. Its not Mag's fault the USPS cant seem to get its act together! The longgggggg delay is NOT MagLIte's fault. I got the tracking info & they shipped within 2 days of receipt. The USPS on the other hand seems incapable of getting the package from DC to a town not 3 hours away with a major interstate connecting them. The package's status has gone from "Departed USPS sort facility, out for delivery today", to "Arrived at USPS sort facility" several times inc... read more

I called MagLite twice four days ago and left messages and still NO one has called and answered my question comparing two of their flashlights! A salesperson could not answer my question so I have to rely on their technical support. They are providing very poor support.

Business response:

We apologize for any inconvenience. We understanding that you have been contacted by a customer service representative. Should you have any additional questions please feel free to contact our corporate office.

I have a small maglite that takes double A batteries. The batteries died. Our power is out. The batteries are vacuum sealed in. I can't take the light out of the opposite end to release the seal. I forcefully slung it to get the bottom battery out, but the other battery is stuck forever. These are only as good as the one set of batteries you put in there. Don't waste your money on something that has that short of a shelf life and let's you down when your power is out during this awful snowstorm here in the east. So disappoin... read more

Grew up with mags lites. Back when they were quality. Quit using them due to their quality issues. Happened to say screw it and tried a new two cell. Bought it this morning and it's already not working. And quit working half way through the 1600yd crawl. But my cheap I 2$ led saved the day. Hey mag lite. Go f*uck yourselves.

2 1/2 years ago i got a XL50 200 lumen light omg. I do industrial maintenance. It has held up great even after many !!! 20+ foot falls off lifts or machines. Only now has it started to act up when the bat life gets low. So i ordered another one. Was gonna try out the mag tac rechargeable one but so many mixed reviews i decided to just spend $35 on a XL50 200 lumen light again. They eat aaa batteries like crazy i work 40hr + week and change them at least weekly so if your job doesn't provide u batteries best buy alot lol

Been a loyal customer for over a decade. They have now started charging a shipping and handling fee that equals half the cost of the flashlight for warranty claims. What a rip off! From now on I will purchase the Streamlight
