The C and D cell LED flashlights work great, but the AA LED units are very prone to battery corrosion no matter what top brand battery you use. After several different AA batterie LED issues due to this, I will only consider purchasing the C and D cell units in the future which have never given me this type of issue. It is my opinion that R&D should enlarge the internal bore of the AA LED models and use a thin plastic bore liner or sleeve to prevent corroded batteries from getting lodged and completely rendering the flashlig... read more

I have been using Maglites for years in the automotive field for lighting and inspecting the smallest details! The Maglite is one of my favorite tools!
I can't find a regular bulb for a 4 D cell Mag. WTH?
I have had my Mag-Light since 1987! It's a 4 D Cell! Never had any issues with it! Rugged, reliable, always works! I have never had any trouble with battery's, always use Duracell in mine! The flashlight has sat for years, hit the on button lights right up! Had to replace the lens once, and went through about about 4 bulbs. I've had the same bulb in it for the last 14 years! I have used the 2 cell mag pro for several years and am now very disappointed with this unit. It seems that when there is an issue , the company (mag lite) will send a part for repair but I have to pay shipping and handling. Shouldn't be so....i work for a heating and air company and use this a lot.............the last two units have had issues with the bulb going out with out reason.............i called for warranty repair and evidently the warranty doesn't include this charge. I don't feel I should have to pay this because... read more
