"$1,200 estimate for a 8 dollar part" Brought my car in for an Oil change, Brake inspection and check the AC that was blowing hot air. I made an apointment to drop the car off. It took them 3 days to get to my car. I was chagred $150 and give a $1,200 estimate to fix the AC. My brother was in town he took a qucik look at the AC. Changed the fuse and now it works like a champ. So Honda you did not actually do any work I paid you to give me a high estimate on a simple repair. Took my wife's car in......very expensive and my wife is very skeptical of the recommended work......Actual mileage on the Pilot----13,600------the reminder for service work was really just an oil change------$366 worth of work----preventative? We buy Hondas so we don't spend $300/$400 every month or so......We've had lots of work and cars done at Brookdale for the last 20 years----from Civics, CRV's to Accords and Pilots----maintenance has been minimal and repairs few and far between----always promotions and considerations ... read more
The service department severely damaged my vehicle, costing me hundreds of dollars and hours of my time to try to fix and they're still not fixed right. They returned my vehicle to me without saying anything about the damage. When I asked them to replace the damaged rims they refused and only offered to pay to have 3/4 of them resurfaced making me pay for the other one. The resurfacing fix was not adequate and now the rims finish is flaking off and corroding faster than ever. All of my rims also now leak at the valve stem.
