Mojitos and Goat Cheese Fondue!!! – We got there for two things. Their mojitos AND their goat cheese fondue!!! To be honest, we wished their entrees were a bit more enticing. Maybe a bit larger in portion. But their mojitos and their goat cheese fondue (w/ bread and sliced apples) keep us coming back! I definitely recommend making reservations, as it does get busy. During these times, it is also quite noisy. But show up in their off peak hours, and things are awesome. Request for a booth...as it is a bit quieter and you can ... read more

What a great place! – Everything about this place is great! The food...great. The atmosphere...great. The drinks...great (try the mojito!) and I have to give a special shout out to the desserts, specifically the homemade smores...so good! Have always had a great time and great service here...highly recommended.

Fun and Consistently Good Standby – An outpost of a successful restaurant in San Francisco's Mission District, Luna Park stands out with its lively atmosphere, inventive bar, great high-ceilinged decor and consistently good food. I love the Pou-Pou platter appetizer, a throwback to Tiki restaurants of my childhood. The mussels are a good option too. The salads are innovative and big enough for a couple to share. I enjoy the one with spinach, candied walnuts, dried currants and goat cheese. Entree choices are great - amazing ... read more

Comfortable - good drinks - good food - no pretension. It can be very loud and overcrowded and it is in an isolated neighborhood.

Avoid the crowd – The place was super crowded and it kinda did not make me want to stay...the service didn't help either. The food was better than average. I hade the mussels with fries which was very delicious. I would come back on a less crowded time.

good service, fun place for the weekend – Food was good and not very expensive. For the appetizer we had the skewers which were decent but not wonderful. However, I really enjoyed the jerkchicken which was surprisingly flavorful and mosit. It also came with baked sweet potato wedges which was a great compliment to the chicken, I would highly recommend this entree!! Dessert was a ridiculously rich chocolate cake was was absolutely delicious!!! For an appetizer, two entrees and dessert, with tax and tip, dinner came to about $... read more

Will never go back – I went this past weekend to celebrate a friend's birthday. Luna Park is so cramped, it's almost a fire hazard. The drinks are NOT strong at all, filled to the top with ice, and were in small glasses to top it off. That alone made me dislike the place. Food was ok, but this is LA... I can easily find another place with better food, cheaper (and stronger) drinks, and not have my neighbor's dinner table 1 foot away from mine.

Great Hangout – I've been going to Luna Park for a few years and have always enjoyed the casual atmosphere, great drinks (icebreaker is fab) and generally good food. My recommendations would have to be the mac & cheese and mushroom ravioli. Do NOT have the pou pou platter - the meat comes out already cooked and cold, and the flavoring is a bit off and quite unappetizing. But overall this is still a great place to have a casual dinner with friends. The cute plastic animals on the cocktails are also a bonus.
