Worst service I've experienced in Los Angeles – Went here last night for a friends' birthday. The four of us who arrived early sat at the bar, and the bartender (don't remember his name) was great. The drinks were excellent and despite the fact that he was very busy he was attentive to us. But when the rest of our party (9 people) showed up the waitress Briana was HORRIBLE!!! All was great – Good service, great table, good chicken and great drinks. I like to Mini Bar drink, three or four little tiny drinks.
bad service, ok food, don't bother making reservations – This place used to be fabulous but it is now going down hill, They're always changing the menu, the service is horrible, rude waiters and slow service. It takes almost an hour to get a plate. And don't bother making a reservation on the weekends because you'll still have to wait an hour to get seated....
Flippin' Sweet! – Fabulous! So far my favorite place in L.A. Everything on the menu was great, service was Impeccable. $15 for Yellowtail in a great deal! Took my sister for her birthday, they brought out a surprise dessert more fun than Chuck E. Cheese for an 8-year-old. Can't wait to go back. I can sum it up in 2 words........ GOOD S**T!
Over rated!!! – Cute place- the decor that is. Other than that, the food is way below average and the service is absolutely horrible.
Great Bartender, Great Server, Nice Meal...will definitely dine here next time I'm in LA – Totally different experience compared to the other place I reviewed while I was visiting my brother. Cute banquettes, romantic, cozy – I went to Luna Park for my birthday last year. I had a group of 9 which was accommodated quite easily. The server (a lady) was friendly and attentive. Some of our group may have been less than easy to deal with. The Mojitos are the best I've ever had!! I hate rum and the server suggested them... so between her and the rave reviews I've heard about them, I tried it ....and they were so good I had 2. Overpriced, mediocre food, DIET RITE instead of Pepsi or Coke – I'd heard good things about Luna Park, and was excited to try it. I'd just had a baby and someone offered to babysit so I really was looking forward to getting out. What a disappointment. Yummy Yummy! – You can always count on Luna Park when you're craving comfort food, but still want to go to a nice restaurant. Such a great place to meet with friends. Getting a booth is ideal, as the tables can be a little cramped. I highly recommend the mac and cheese. YUM.
