A little over-hyped for the food and service – Went to Luna Park for the first time with a friend last week and thought it was a bit over-hyped. First of all make sure to bring money for parking because you will either have to valet or fight for one of the metered spots on La Brea. We decided to share a bottle of wine and some courses. We started off with the chipotle caesar salad, it was good, nothing out of this world - but had a little kick with spice. Next, we had the parmesan rigatoni Bolognese. My friend ordered this b... read more

Always packed! Groupon friendly! Great environment! – Came to Luna with my sister during her birthday. Food was great. We had a salad and an avocado burger. They offer great discounts through twitter and groupon and have a full bar. If you can, go there on someones birthday, the "cake" they bring you is surprisingly "large" :) I'll let you see what I'm talking about. It gave us a good laugh on how clever they were!

Find Them on Twitter! – Almost on a weekly basis, Luna Park tweets unreal discounts, such as 50% off your entire check. Of course, you have to be following them to know the secret password to whisper to your server. Luna Park also offers "Blue Plate Specials" Sunday to Thursday night with entrees priced from $10 to $12, in addition to their regular menu items like goat cheese fondue, pot roast and pork cutlet. Don't forget to order one of their specialty cocktails, their sangria is my favorite. [Twitter Handle: @lunaparkla]

What a mistake we arrived at 5:30pm dinner time very few people in restaurant. We were sat at a booth that everytime the door was opened to go to serve people in outside patie a large draft of air would come in. My husband immediately order his appitizer whe... read more

Great drinks and fun atmosphere – It may be hard to find, but it's a really cute date spot or a fun place to eat with the girls. I only had their sandwiches which may have been a mistake because it was so-so. Everyone raves of the mac&cheese so maybe next time? Great atmosphere and kind of crappy service, drinks were yummy.

Great deserts! – Forgot about this spot because of all the new fab restos in town. But went back recently and had a spot on lunch. Everything was just great and we got a killer deal (50% off!) by following them on twitter. I was very impressed with the mac & cheese, salads and especially the deserts. I will go back and i must remember to remember Luna Park as a viable dinner option too!

Good in LA ... better in SF – I live a few blocks away so I end up at Luna Park a few times a month (it is a 5 minute walk). Most of the food is consistently good but a little overpriced. My favorite item on the menu is the tuna poke. Aviod the S'mores for dessert ... I've made better s'mores in my microwave.
