Busy place, good value and good food from return customers. – We've eaten here a few times, most recently last friday night (Dec. 15th). The service was a little eratic (slow to get us drinks, slow to get food orders, but the food arrived super fast). The food was good, my wife had the wild boar rogatoni, with a side of brussels sprouts, I had the flank steak. The rigatoni and the brussels sprouts were fabulous. My steak was good, a tad tough. My fries were just right. The other really nice thing about Luna Park is they have... read more

LA's closest thing to a neighborood haunt. – Other cities have corner stores and neighborhood restaurants. LA just has high end restaurants and taco stands. I'd say Luda Park is one of the closer things to a neighborhood joint. I had a good but not particularly memorable dinner there a few months back. Everything was good, but not great. Most memorable was the make-your-own smores.

Nothing special.. – Slooooow service. We had reservations for a party of 20 and they tried to squish us in one long table before we complained and had them reserve us another table so we could all sit comfortably. Was very crowded to begin with (on a Saturday evening). They got a friend's order wrong and by the time they were able to bring out another meal, everyone was already finished and onto dessert. The food that we did have were rather tasty though. Good mac&cheese in a rather medium-sized serving. My friend had the sa... read more

What's all the fuss – I don't get it, why do so many people go there? I had to wait for a table, service was slow and they have a limited menu. Maybe because it's sort a cheap, but not really. The food is ok, so if you like loud, slow service and ok food, go

Yummy Brunch – We went there for brunch on Saturday and it was lovely. Friend and I shared chiliquiles, the grilled artichoke and the tuna poke. All were yummy and the other items sounded so good, especially the french toast. Good drinks and the most amazing pumpkin bread pudding. I mean amazing. And our server was awesome and recommended we add a shot of frangelico to the dessert and he was right on. I can't wait to go back for more.

Great date spot – This place has a small menu, but the cuban-inspired food is delicious. Their Mojitos are a must-try. This place is always crowded, especially during the weekend. Although we made reservations, we still had to wait about 30 minutes.

Not on Friday – I arrived about an hour and change early for my 8:30 reservation so my two friends and I could have a cocktail before sitting down. We notified the host staff as soon as we arrived that we would be waiting in the bar when the time came for our reservation in an hour. They assured us that that was no problem and we sat at the bar and enjoyed some tasty drinks. The place started to get pretty packed so we checked in with the host staff again to make sure our reservation would be kept. Again, we were told we wer... read more

Good for bar eats, drinks – Luna Park is a neat artsy place to grab some drinks (a good variety of muddled drinks, from mojitos to blueberry lemonades, and specialty martinis) and some 'fun foods' (make your own s'mores, goat cheese fondues with apple & bread for dipping.) Entrees are kind of a hit&miss - the mac 'n cheese is the only consistently good 'large plate' they offer.

MMMMM – This place is one of my favorites in LA - great lunch, great date, fantastic grilled cheese. If you like grilled cheese - get the grilled cheezelits w/ tomato soup -- you will not be sorry. This is a fun brunch location.
