Enjoy the food! – Come here for the food and the drinks but don't expect to be able to have a conversation or a fast meal (nights)..because it's as crowded and noisy as hell!!The food is delicious though expecially the fondue appetizer and the smores dessert served on candle burners make this place different and fun!Delicious bread and smashed potatoes too..
Packed and trendy with great service. – My friends brought me here for my birthday last Saturday and I absolutely loved it. We had reservations which we were ten minutes late for and our table was still waiting for us. I ordered a tasty pork cutlet with green beans and mashed potatoes which reminded me of Thanksgiving. Portions were not huge but they were enough. We should eat in moderation anyway, right? The sangria is a must! There was a wait for the restaurant the whole night; probably people without reservations. Our wai... read more
Hip Trendy Place for Happenin' Price – Didn't have reservations, place was packed on a saturday night at 7 pm, hostess was friendly and offered us to sit and wait at the bar, we had fabulous sangrias and were seated in no time, main dish pork cutlet with mashed potatoes was filling and tasty, satay appetizer was spicy but good, dessert panna cotta with blueberries was delicioso!!!!absolute must try! high ceilings, a bit noisy and filled with trendsters but in general a good experience. drinks pricey, but food at good value. ... read more
THE BEST RESTAURANT FOR THE BEST PRICE!! – Seriously, this was the best experience I've had in LA. I made my reservations through opentable.com for 7pm on a Saturday for 4 and requested a booth. We got there 10min late and not only did they honor the reservation, the booth was waiting for us admist the totally packed restaruant! We had wonderful service, the team really worked together in helping everyone and the manager came over THREE times to see how we were doing! The food was excellent for the price, it's not the Ivy bu... read more
I'm a fan – I really love this restaurant. It has it's cons, but I think the food, ambience and service waay outweigh them. Vegetarian options are slim, but the mushroom and spinach ravioli is TO DIE FOR. The delicate ravioli drown in the rich and creamy sauce. The appetizers and desserts are exquisite, from the grilled artichoke with lemon aioli to the make your own s'mores. I've never had a fondue like the goat cheese fondue. It is served with apple slices and bread. It is mouth-watering good. The cocktails are good, from ... read more
What a disapopintment! – I had been to this place a few times and never thought it was terribly impressive. One time, we had to wait about an hour for our food and the waiter kept waiving us off. But the last time I was there was by far the worst. One of my friends and I both ordered the monte cristo for lunch. When they finally came, we realized that my sandwich was all cheese and my friend's was all meat...they had put the wrong sides of bread together! We told the waiter, who wasn't terribly accomodating. They agreed to m... read more
Does not live up to the hype... – We had a reservation but we were told to stand outside on the sidewalk to wait--for 45 minutes. It was cold and windy, and we were told to "keep checking back in" to see when we would be seated. Our group of four was crammed into tiny tables. We barely had room for our drinks and the bread basket, let alone the food. The food was--frankly--forgettable. The WORST part of the evening was that the music was SO loud, after attempting to communicate by elaborate hand signals, our group finally ag... read more
Lively decor...average food – Luna Park was on my list of eats ever since it opened. However, when I finally dined there, I didn't find it too impressive. The decor is amazing, I love the paintings and art. Nonetheless, the food was only 'OK'. Nothing special, nothing spectacular. My bf's steak/french fries were so salty, he could barely eat them. As well, the appetizer poke was very untraditional and not what I would have expected of a poke dish. Wouldn't really crave to come back. I will say, though, their mojitos are exce... read more
this is my new favorite restaurant. when i arrived, it wasn't too packed and we got to sit in a booth. the ambience was nice, music was great and it was clean! the staff was friendly and the food was YUMMY! i must say that when i looked at the menu, it thought i was going to eat some "fancy food". after one bite of the ravioli, i was in heaven! the drinks were awesome, too. i highly recommend this restaurant. i will be back soon...
