Fun Scene, Great Cocktails – I had fun here. I really enjoyed the Crimson Cosmo. The service was great. We had a very attentive and sweet waitress. The appetizers were great, the entrees wre only average. I would go back for drinks, not dinner.
Need New Hostesses, Better Service – I would like to comment on the food at Luna Park, but I can't. My boyfriend set a reservation for 7 p.m. Saturday and reserved a booth, which was confirmed. Yet when we arrived the hostess shuffled us off to a tiny table crammed between diners. We asked about our reservation, and she bluntly said they were expecting large groups and did not offer to reseat us at another table even though the restaurant was virtually empty at the time. stay in sf – man, what a load of crap. came here because of the 'hype', only got bad service and lousy food. 45 minutes late for our reservation, only to have a smug manager, GM?, (or so she said) send out cold cheese (fondue?) with day old bread. save your money and your time....order pizza.

Amazing Food, neat space. – My guy and I stopped into Luna Park for a friend's birthday gathering last week and I must say, I was very impressed! The Goat Cheese fondue was scrumptious, and the Pork with mushrooms and Guyere chese baked into it was even better! But the coolest thing was my husband's drink: Be A Pepper! Love this place! – It is so great to find fun, hip spots in this neighborhood without spending a fortune on dinner! The feel here is both relaxed and buzzing with a bustling bar scene and vibrant dining area. My experiences with the waitstaff have always been good, if not, extremely pleasant, and I've always gone fairly early, so I've never dealt with a long wait. Good food; not so good service – We made weekday lunch reservations for 6, but when we got there, our table wasn't ready. Our food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, turned out they "forgot" one order. But the food was delicious. Goat cheese fondue was creamy and rich; grilled cheese with tomato soup was delicate, and just the right amount of food. Make-your-own s'mores are amazing, and I don't even really like sweets. Great Service, Great Food – A combination like that does not get any better. My meal was superb and my drink was a perfect compliment. I had the lamb cous cous and the kitchen was completely willing to oblige to my pickiness; and my mother's scallop risotto was to die for. Our waitress was the sweetest person who was more than willing to help pick the perfect drinks to compliment our meal. You get a lot of great food, a lot of great service, and the bill did not nearly reflect what a wonderful meal it really was.
