Worth the money – Great food, fantastic drinks, wonderful atmosphere. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it!

Home away from Home – In a town so full of people pretending to be something that they aren't, it's great to find a restaurant as honest and real as Luna Park. Funky and low-lit, I was immediately impressed by the laid back atmosphere and friendly people that greeted me. Pretty hostesses that actually smile AT you? not THROUGH you? Wow. Sitting at the bar I was impressed to watch a (hot) bartending staff actually having a good time, despite the fact that they were making Mojito after Mojito after Mojito. No mix. Just limes, ... read more

Good food with unusual touches – During our visit to L.A., we enjoyed the unusual dishes, excellent food and friendly service. We were there early on a Saturday evening. The service was friendly, helpful and reasonably paced. We all enjoyed our food, and the chicken breast with squash and brussels sprouts and the ravioli got rave reviews. We enjoyed all the do-it-yourself dishes - goat cheese fondue, s'mores, and make-your-own XMAS cookies. The portions were reasonable and so were the prices. It was easy to park on the stree... read more

Good food, but overall... – I was there for birthday dinner for 7 people after hearing good things about this place. The only thing good was the food and the ambience. Overall, the hostess was extremely rude, we were told that we had to leave in 2 hours because they had another reservation coming in, and then having to pay a $2.50 per piece "cake cutting charge", I honestly lost my patience. My party spent over $400 dollars on dinner, and we were ripped off on our cake, the staff was rude, and on top of that the waitress was... read more

Great place – We didn't make reservations, so the wait was a little long, but the fantastic mojitos made it a little easier to bear. The food was simple, but good, with reasonable prices to match. My friends got the mac and cheese and I had the spicy rigatoni. We were all very pleased with our choices. The place itself was trendy without being pretentious. I'd definitely go back!

Heavenly Grub – Luna Park is definately not a disappointment. Althought, we had some trouble lookin for its directions, the food and amenity were prestinely paid off. Everything on the menu is less than $15. My friend and I orderred Tuna Poke Wanton for appertizer. It was delicious and mouthwatering. I had spicy chicken for my entrees. Chicken was young, tender, and luscious. It was exactly how the way I like the chicken to be marinated and cooked. I didn't like the rose white wine. I told the witstaff but she didn't make an... read more

Solid and Nice – We got there when they opened, and they showed us to the table we requested when we made our reservation. I can't speak to service when they are busy, but when they are slow they are GREAT. I had the breaded pork cutlett and it was just OK. The gruyere cheese that is supposed to be there was basically missing - but it was OK. My wife's salmon looked good though and dessert was great. Portions aren't huge, but they're enough, and isn't that supposed to be the way it is?

Dinner for two – Luna park is for everyone, the food is good and the service too. I liked the bar scene a lot, bartenders were hot. The martinis are served in a very small martini glass but it comes along with another small container to refill your glass. This I found to be nice, the only other bar where I have seen this is Toppers at the Raddison Huntley in Santa Monica. My salmon was cooked to perfection. Parking is available down the street and valet parking is available also.

Good for casual quickie – Admittedly I was expecting a lot, but nevertheless I thought the food a bit plain in that everything was kind of 'been-there-done-that.' The flavors were there, but it was just a bit ordinary. The drinks are great, though, as is the whole feel of the place... very cool, casual and fun. The bar was hopping, and the location is nice and convenient. And the wait staff was a bit lethargic and not very enthusiastic - maybe they had to eat the food... ;)
