GOOD FOOD... EXCELLENT SERVICE – The food is always good, but what's especially outstanding about this place is the service!!!! The staff go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your experience... and this has consistently been the case each and every time I've visited. Fun place to go for lunchtime if you want a convivial atmosphere... it gets packed, so be prepared to take a little extra time and maybe enjoy a little cocktail before you head back to the office!
chic-bohemian goodness – like everything about this place. the decor's great, lighting's great, service was great (by a friendly/involved/attractive server), and the crowd was young, hip, &appropos... even the recommended dishes & drinks by the server turned out to be great. but you might want to sit on top of your coat or sweater b/c the wooden seats will make that (hard) bum of yours hurt after a while.
Best cocktails, foods, crowd with reasonable price – By far, one of the best places in LA to have great cocktails, fantastic food, beautiful crowd and very reasonable price. I will go back soon. These days most restaurants in LA with the same quality of food and ambience would cost 3 times more than Luna Park. Good job....keep it up!!!
best mojito and desserts – I've been here a few times and I've got to say it is the best restaurant in town. I've consistently had wonderful service and excellent food. It's delicious good ol' down to earth American food and I love it. I love the chargrilled chicken and the brussel sprouts it comes with (I know, right). It's not in the heart of a big social scene or anything, but the quality of dining here far outweighs any restaurant that is. Worst service I've experienced in Los Angeles – Went here last night for a friends' birthday. The four of us who arrived early sat at the bar, and the bartender (don't remember his name) was great. The drinks were excellent and despite the fact that he was very busy he was attentive to us. But when the rest of our party (9 people) showed up the waitress Briana was HORRIBLE!!! All was great – Good service, great table, good chicken and great drinks. I like to Mini Bar drink, three or four little tiny drinks.
bad service, ok food, don't bother making reservations – This place used to be fabulous but it is now going down hill, They're always changing the menu, the service is horrible, rude waiters and slow service. It takes almost an hour to get a plate. And don't bother making a reservation on the weekends because you'll still have to wait an hour to get seated....
Flippin' Sweet! – Fabulous! So far my favorite place in L.A. Everything on the menu was great, service was Impeccable. $15 for Yellowtail in a great deal! Took my sister for her birthday, they brought out a surprise dessert more fun than Chuck E. Cheese for an 8-year-old. Can't wait to go back. I can sum it up in 2 words........ GOOD S**T!
Over rated!!! – Cute place- the decor that is. Other than that, the food is way below average and the service is absolutely horrible.
