I purchased two air purifiers from Lowe's along with two protection plans as I wanted a certain benefit within the plan pertaining to the partial reimbursement of consumable supplies. My attempts to obtain benefits under the plan have been nothing short of a disaster. I have placed over 10 phone calls and spent hours of my time either trying to confirm or obtain benefits under the plan. Horrible customer service. When the washer was brought up to the register to pay the box was destroyed. I stated I did not want that one. after waiting 20 minutes for another washer I went back to find the person looking for it. When I found him he stated he had to move 5 washers to get one that did not have a messed up box. I bought a washing machine, within a week the lock would not release on the lid. I have been trying to sign my husband up for a military discount for about a week. He already had a discount in the system ..they misspelled his name but now with the new procedure of creating a mylowes account the website doesnt work. It comes back with no such website after I fill out the form to create the account. We have been to the store. 0614, I have chatted with 2 agents.they are not helpful AT ALL. I much more prefer to walk around my Lake Wales Lowe's rather than their competitor's, and I really appreciate and applaud them for the military discount; however, I have issues with a few things to the point of actually having to write this review. Note: I just also realized that Lowe's doesn't have a feedback for reviews and complaints or suggestions; so, I will have to look for a back door or find a more public review site. Communication to Customers they are delivering to is the worst. I had an item scheduled for delivery weeks ago. A few days before I called to confirm it had not been postponed or canceled. I was told it was still on track. I asked when and was told in the morning. The day of delivery It took multiple phone calls to reach anyone and they could never confidently confirm delivery. I got 160 stones and 10 bags of sand ordered to be delivered to my house on Wednesday and the lady that took my order told me it will be delivered on Sunday. Well Sunday came and they told they won't make it today, so I had to go to the store and reschedule it. It is now Monday they brought my delivery and guess what half of the stones are cracked from the sides from the middle, I called them to report about it. Lowes Rebate system is total scam. Filed my initial rebate for 2 appliances in December with all of the relevant information from the online order. Received notification approximately 6 weeks later that the submission was invalid. I called and followed up and the rep on the phone informed me to use the delivery date instead of the sales date since it was done online so I resubmitted using the exact information that he told me to use. I never leave negative reviews, however, I am tired of Lowes bait & switch practices (which is illegal). They advertise an item on their website on sale and when the item is added to your cart it becomes full price. This is the second time it's happened. Called Lowes Customer Service & the customer service agent tried to rectify the situation by offering a discount after I emailed a screenshot of the sale item online. I had an issue with my Frigidaire gallery refrigerator in connection with replacing the water filter. One of the appliance associates, named Chris, was very helpful and spent over 40 minutes on the phone with me and walked me through the process. I really appreciated his patience and professionalism.
