I was just at the store in the lumber DEPT. My husband and I got fence boards, 2x4 and 2X8, concrete and nails. NO ONE asked if they could help us! My husband had to crawl back in the bays to get what we needed! Employees walking by like chickens with their heads cut off! Ridiculous! I asked for help and never received it! The only one that was compassionate was the cashier, ex marine. Wish I had asked his name. I thanked him for his service. I am very disappointed!
If no one in the entire store can even answer a telephone, how serious do you think they could possibly be about customer service?
GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM LOWES. I had a bad news/ good news experience with Lowes yesterday, and Lowes rose to the occasion. Last Friday I saw a GE range on clearance, the last they had of that discontinued model, regularly $900+ now $650, so we purchased it. Delivery was scheduled for Monday afternoon. Monday morning I received a call from a mortified salesperson that told me that was not a working model, but to make it up to me they would substitute the next model up (regular price $1500) for what I have already paid. I always thought Lowes Summerville had great people, and were far more customer service oriented than the guys in orange across the street. It's time to rethink that. I am currently on hold for 22 minutes and they have picked up the phone once to ask who I am holding for.. I think I'll pay a little extra next time, and go to a locally owned establishment..#dontbeinahurryatLowes
