Do not take out a loan with this organization! Do so at your peril! LoanDepot damaged my credit by inaccurately reporting me as being late to the credit bureaus, even though I never was. It took several email exchanges, and phone calls before they finally admitted their mistake, blaming it on a "billing error". But admitting their mistake was only the beginning, they have demonstrated no real desire to correct the inaccurate reporting. I was seeking loan with Loan Depot after a casual letter of offer like always and i called and the process started. My affairs are not simple like any other. Too complicated and my job and living arrangements are also too complicated. Loan Depot folks were very patient and finally we got this done. i was extremely happy with them.. I will use them again for refinance and or buying another property.

We just received word that our refi has funded. I have to say that this experience has been one of the best business transactions I have ever been a party to. The LD team was pleasant, patient, professional and expedited the many moving parts of our transaction with grace. Every phone call was returned, every message was attended too. The electronic interface was state-of-the-art, and the edocs were easy to work with. I would highly recommend Loan Depot as a lender.

This company is absolutely the worst. I called to get information only and I told the guy that I could not make a decision now. We made a appointment for him to call back 5 days later to see what my decision was. In the meantime they sent out 2 copies of a loan with very private information on it including Social Security # to two different addresses. I NEVER asked for this. Now, I have to contact them if I don't want my information shared. THIS COMPANY SUCKS!!

This was our first mortgage loan, and our loan officer was very patient, informative, helpful, and quick to respond. I think we got a decent rate. It would have been helpful if an online company like LD had an automated way to submit documentation. Submitting documents via email meant that sometimes we had to send things twice, and it did not seem very secure. Where the process started to fall apart is right around closing. I had a wonderful experience refinancing my mortgage with Loan Depot. I was uneasy because there are so many companies out there that try to get your business when you go on line to do inquiries. I chose Loan Depot in the long run, and am glad I did. I was originally given an interest rate, and was contacted weeks into the process to tell me the rates had dropped and that they would be lowering the rate I was originally quoted. The agent I had did not keep me informed. I was calling him to find out what was going on. When I started I asked about the poor reviews and he said some people just have problems. I would not use them again for as long as it took to get my loan done.
