LoanDepot is an AWESOME Company to deal with, this is my 2nd time and both times it went as smooth as warm butter. So easy my 12 year old daughter could do it. It is now the only company I will use. So great you dont ever have to leave your home.
They're charging me discount points on top of their high origination fee while other company gave me same intersest rate with no discount point and lower origination fee. After I showed Loan Depot officer the lower loan estimate from other lender that they said they're going to match if I can get one, I didn't hear from them since. Don't give them your credit card for credit report pulling out cause they're gonna automatically charge you for appraisal after that while you can negotiate for appraisal free.

Stay away. They lie from the beginning. Our refi should have been so simple, great credit score, they were the original loan company to give us the loan. Two and a half months later, even though they told me that the loan had funded, my mortgage company does not have the money. We closed a week and a half ago. They are a joke. Over worked, underpaid and under qualified. No idea what they are doing.
Their product and service are very good. There was a small miscommunication in the beginning but that what quickly straightened out and I got exactly the loan they offered and more importantly exactly what I wanted. Often a lot is lost in the translation but this time they went the extra mile to be sure that I was satisfied and understood what was happening. Great customer service! My loan officer, Chris K*** was knowledgeable and responsive. My loan process took two weeks from start to finish. I highly recommend Loan Depot.
Excellent communication. Bopha always answer her calls and respond the emails promptly. Even though we purchase our home during the holiday period, she was still very responsive to all our questions and concerns.
