Started off great and then fizzled out fast. Average service at best. Poor communication between loan officer and the loan processor. I had to repeat everything again to the loan processor that I told the loan officer. Confusing communication both in email and over the phone with the mobile closing company. The closing company changed people 3 times in 2 weeks. The loan was pushed to close early without having their ducks in a row. Started off great, then came to a stand still (loan sat for 12 days no action) then took off again. Loan processor changed and from then on it was schedule. Even with that hiccup from start to close took 4 weeks.

Due to an auto accident and financial hardship, I was one payment behind. I contacted LoanDepot about a repayment plan to which they happily obliged to help. I have been on the repayment plan for three months and should have been caught up already; however, I am now 2 months behind! I have repeatedly tried to make payments only to be given excuses as to why they will not process my payment. They scammed me out os 500.00 The loan officer guarantees that he would not go thru with it if he thought it would not get approved then the appraiser came and after wks and wks of calling no text replying no nothing they send an automated text saying that the loan wasn't approved these people are thiefs and liars and should not be in buisness .please please do not ever ever use loan depot take this as buyer be aware
My experience with loan depot was great. The loan officers were very knowledgeable and professional. I sometimes would get frustrated with all the paperwork needed to get this loan. In the end, everything worked out. I’m a homeowner now!!!
A job well done. The staff was helpful, provided the necessary information, always returned phone calls, and did what they said they would, to make a different in our mortgage. In the beginning, we did know understand the process, because we had never experienced doing it on the computer. But, once it was explained, we were able to move forward with the New Experience.. The staff expressed a Spirit of caring to make sure we understood and we are satisfied. Thanks for the service you provided, Theodore and Everlean Merritt.
