We have refinanced with Loan Depot a number of times before and it was very easy and fast as they already had all of the information required. Tommy C. and Jamie P. handled our application through out the whole procedure. Couldn't find a better team as they were both very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions concerning our refinance loan.
The process was made much better during the Covid 19 due to my loan officer. It was a trying time as people were not in the office but my two people were excellent. I would highly recommend Loan Depot. I would use them again.
Loan Depot was great. They took the time to explain things to me and worked in my best interests.

Not a fan. My loan was held up for weeks because they had the wrong rate in the files and kept advising me to sign despite me having to remind them the rate still hadn't been fixed. Because of the delay we were hit with a surprise requirement for an appraisal ($500 with no notice) and then more time with no contact and no explanation on what was going on with the rate. Very smooth process. Did need to come up with lots of documentation but after the 2008 meltdown it was to be expected. Gwen was great and made everything move along smoothly. Very happy with results. Got the rate i wanted and would use again if i ever bought another house.
It was an excellent process. Troy, our loan officer, was knowledgable and easy to work with.
Our refinancing went smoother than usual due to the efforts of the great team at Loan Depot. Thanks Alex and Eddie for lowering our monthly payment and making this process as painless as possible. I will use this service, again.
Horrible customer service and follow through on the whole refinance process with loan depot. Beware and use another company what a nightmare working with them.
The experience of refinancing is very smooth because everything up until the final closing of the loan is handled online and as long as you have a great loan officer, like we did, then it's easy to get answers to any open questions. I've refinanced with a major bank before and I felt like the fees/costs and the explanation of all the details of the loan were not as clearly laid out as with Loan Depot.
