My loan went thru in about four weeks total, really professional and very accurate on the cost. Thanks for all the good service that they provide.
Great Company, could improve in giving enough time to gather up all paperwork needed, not a week before closing.
Because this was my second refinance with Loan Depot, the transaction was supposed to be free of lender fees, when in fact, I paid .54 points or $1,686, which I now understand to be lender fees. My loan officer Michael F********, even stated on a recorded phone conversation that their were to be no points. This money should be refunded to me, then i could once again enthusiastically recommend Loan Depot to my friends and colleagues.
Good price, software is easy/good, they seemed overwhelmed with re-fi's. Took over 90 days to refi. And, I responded to all their requests within hours. They didn't wait on me. Maybe a fluke - mine took way too long to process.
We have worked with Loan Depot on two home mortgages. In both cases we were very satisfied with the timeline start to finish, communication from the team, and the low cost and low rates we were offered. We had never used an online process to complete the loan application and provide all the additional documents. I was surprised at how easy and convenient it was through out every step. My application for the refinance loan started on July 10, 2020. As of today, Sept 10, 2020, LoanDepot has not provided me with a closing date. It's been 60 days, and still no firm closing date. I have asked time after time, if there was any problem with the loan and I offered to provide any additional information that would help them to speed up the process, and each time they said no.
