The third loan manger did very well once he took over and actually understood my plight, but by that time I was so angry and frustrated I didn’t even fight about the rate despite having multiple lower rate offers from other companies. I just wanted the nightmare to be complete.

This is the worst lender imaginable! This is the worst lender imaginable. I have an 800 credit rating, make more than enough to pay the mortgage, and have owned many properties. Don't use them. It has taken 3 months for a simple refi with no end in sight. My emails are constantly ignored by low-level workers and supervisors. Response to Loan Depot: Yes, I have contacted the supplied email and my so called 'loan officer'. This is crazy. Informed the team of my previous “terrible experience” with Loan Depot in a previous refi transaction and NOTHING IMPROVED. It was as bad if not worse because they knew of my past refi experience with Loan Depot. Dates and targets set that were never met, told that “you’re one in a hundred” clients for each ‘loan officer’. Treated as inconsequential, only “a number”. It was as if I needed to remind each person of their role in the refi process.

Overall, it took longer than I expected to get the paperwork completed. The people I dealt with were friendly, determined, and professional. I appreciate that the loan got completed. I felt the lines of communication were open- email, text and phone were all used to communicate with me. I did not get any automated messages. Shirlonda was very encouraging that the problems with my personal bank would get resolved.

I was referred to loan depot through on line.First call loan officer was very professional. Got as far as the appraisal which came out $11k less from an appraisal I had last year, the appraiser told me some of the upgrades I had did not matter which they do. Needless to say he listed my house as a 3bed 2 bath and tit is a 4 bed 4 bath, he listed the house as 1037 sq ft and it is 2227 sq ft. Now it’s in appraisal review for 2 weeks wasting more time. Would not Reccomend at all
