If could put a star below 0 would. Had loan here years ago, was ok, sold loan after year. This time not good, please ******. Decided refinance. **** ******* was so nice. . Everyone at Loandepot throughout the whole process was excellent!!!!! I would recommend them to everyone and already have sent additional people to them.
I did a refi with them and amazingly it went great. There was a slight bobble at the end, but they recovered and fixed the problem immediately.
I have been investing in real estate for 35 years and this was by far the most messed up loan process I have ever been through. It took about 100 hours of my time; I had to produce 600 pages of documents and it took 3 months to complete. We have credit scores in the 800's, the loan to value was 15% (i.e. we have 85% equity in the home), our net worth is 50 times the amount of the loan and we have cash in the bank equal to twice the amount of the loan so not a risky loan at all. Loan Depot did not care about protecting my private information. They sent my personal information, include my full name and aliases, full *** and full birthday over an unsecured email without my consent, leaving me vulnerable to identify theft and does not show any urgency to ratify the situation.
we refi'd from 1 loan depot loan to another loan depot for a better rate. we were told our loan was funded and loan origination said the money was wired. we made our 1st payment. all good. then we rec'd notice that we had failed to make the last 2 payments on the old loan and owed late fees. what? then we got a refund for the 1st payment we made on our new loan. i've talked to a dozen people at loan depot. no one will tell us what happened or what is happening. "

They helped us buy our first home and helped us refinance with a lower payment! Best lender ever! Highly recommend!
