I bought my furniture on Friday afternoon and it was delivered Saturday morning. It was even nicer than I remembered from the store. The salesperson, Erica, was great. I told her what my budget was and what I was looking for and she showed me options. I decided on something a little over budget. The two that delivered my furniture were friendly and professional. The whole experience was great and I will shop there again.
My parents bought a bed from Living spaces thinking they were upgrading in quality from IKEA, within 4 days of putting the bed together the bed had some parts break. After the were contacted they delivered the new part and within another 4 days another part broke. According to Chris in the Van Nuys,CA location, they were ONE (1) day past their return policy and they cannot get their full refund. If I could give this business no stars I would. This business is horrible!! DO NOT BUY FROM living spaces!! I bought a couch in November 2020 and it's March and I still don't have a couch. Their customer service is not helpful and actually was dishonest on the status of my couch, saying my third item hasn't been shipped out yet. Purchased in November with January delivery date. After delivery date passed, we reached out and were informed there would be a two month delay. After our delivery window passed ** called in to discover the couch was damaged and that it could take another 2 to 4 months to rebuild. We have past the frustration stage and have entered the - 'laughing because we can't believe this real' stage. Customer support got us next to no where. Terrible, terrible experience.
Where to start. LS attempted to "deliver" my sofa; which measured smaller than my existing sofa. They came in, took photos of it "not fitting" in elevator or stairwell. And left. My property has cameras which caught the ordeal. They charge me $300 restocking fee. called Customer service who told me to deal with the store directly. The store said to contact customer service. I was supposed to have a sofa delivered last week. It showed up with a damaged leg, so the delivery people took it back. A Living Spaces representative was on the phone with them and said she would call me back later that day with an update on when I would receive my new sofa. She never called, so I called Living Spaces. The representative said they would call me in 24-48 hours. Nothing. So I called again. Placed an order 15 November 2020 and was quoted a delivery of 10 December 2020 to 16 February 2021. I received a phone call on 4 March 2021 to tell me I would get my furniture between 17 and 28 March. 10 March they informed me I was not a priority and would maybe see my furniture in mid April. How does a business treat their customers like this? 10/10 recommend that you save your money and never purchase from Living Spaces.
Do not buy from them. They looked polished and reputable when we placed an order for an Abinger 2 Piece 116" Sectional With Right Arm Facing Chaise that clearly stated as In Stock on their website at the end of January 2021. Earliest delivery date available was at the end of February. The day before the scheduled delivery, they called to tell us it was going to be delayed because they were still waiting on the shipment from the manufacturer. What?? I purchased a couch set on 12/5/20 with a promise delivery date of 2/15. The date passed and 2/26 I asked for a refund. They didnÂ’t have another date to offer. They are selling product that they donÂ’t even know when the customer can actually receive. When I purchased I placed half on a card and half in cash. I am still waiting for my refund. Today they told me a check would have to be written Friday 3/5 for the cash part. That is ridiculous customer service. I will never purchase there again nor do I recommend to anyone.
