I purchased a 4 piece wall unit made by Sinclair II on 12/29/20. On 1/1/21 was my appointment date for delivery. The delivery came and the left pier was built incorrectly and they were unable to screw the pier to the bridge. The right pier was attached by the screws per the assistant delivery guy that did not speak english which was not true because the screws were too small for the hole. Worst experience ever!! I ordered a Sofa and a Loveseat that was considered a "special/custom order". I was initially told 8 to 10 weeks when I placed my order. Around the 8 week mark, I called in and asked about the status of my order and was told it'll actually be 14-16 weeks. I asked the girl if she could call the warehouse or the special order department (if that even exists) about my timeline in fact being pushed back to 14-16 weeks. because I was told 8-10 weeks. This company mislead me to believe it would take 2 weeks and 4 at the most to receive item. However after being strung along for 4 weeks already have now told me it will be another 4 weeks until I can receive item. On top of this the "best they can do" is to offer me a refund but they'll keep 10% of my money for restocking purposes.

If you don't want to wait over 16 weeks for your order to be delivered to you, then DO NOT order from living spaces. We ordered a dining set and couch from them on October 17, 2020. We were told the couch would take 8-10 weeks to be delivered due to COVID. We knew there were delays, which is why we went furniture shopping 2-3 months before actually needing the items. There should be an option for NEGATIVE STARS. I don't know how a business can maintain in this manner. I never thought to check BBB for reviews before purchasing from such a large chain. This company is a scam, fraud and functions in misinformation & lies! Paid over $2500 for a couch 4 months ago and they are telling me now another month. First told 6-8 weeks, to get the deal done, then told delayed a few more weeks, then when the date comes and goes, you call again only to be told another date. I ordered a recliner and was told it would arrive within a month. Well, a month went by and I called back and now they told me I have to wait till the end of January!! No more!! This will be the last purchase I make from Living Spaces and I have given them a lot of business in the past. Oh and if I want to cancel, they would charge me a 10% re-stocking fee. Giving me hard time during covid, as i found uncomfortable with product and called to exchange the product. Customer service is too harsh in giving response when talking about return policy. I would give 0/5 stars if I could. Purchased a bedroom set and special ordered a sofa on 11/13/2020. The entire living spaces team working with us (not just one person) advised delivery was 8-10 weeks. I called living spaces on 01/04/2021 to just check the status of the delivery (as I was expecting to receive my order soon) and was told that from that date (01/04/2020) I wouldn't receive my furniture for another 16-17 weeks (Mid April) because of the special order sofa.
