Cancelled my account months ago. Found out I was still being charged for their services. When I called them they had no record for my past account and kept asking for my SSN. Really? They told me they would contact their billing department but I should call my bank and have my bank call them. Unprofessional service.

I’ve never been so disgusted with a company until now. My husband ******has an account with life lock and I wanted to be added on. I called earlier in the week and spent over 50 minutes on the phone doing the whole process only to be told there was a system issue and they cannot add me. That I needed to wait three days and call back and start all over. I spoke with a supervisor who told me he would call me back in three days so I wouldn't have to but he never did. What is the difference in both of LifeLock's web sites??? I noticed that there is a lifelock.com and a lifelock.org (listed here on BBB). Have I been scammed and that is why I can't get a hold of anyone at lifelock to respond to me about the fraudulent activity on my credit cards?

Enrolling and submitting payment for Norton 360 with Lifelock was easy. Trying to use the product I just paid for was a nightmare. While the initial sales agent spoke English, the customer support and technical support did not. My phone number had initially been entered wrong so I didn’t receive the promised text and never received the email allowing me to set up my account. I've been a customer with Lifelock for a few years now though I'm not extremely satisfied with they service they provide a false sense of security. Their fees are always increasing and every time I call customer service I get reps who don't seem experienced or know what they're talking about or how to help me -- also not sure why a company that's supposed to protect my identity would ask me to provide my full ssn over the phone and if you don't then the rep can't access your full account. I was not able to make my payment this month due to financial hardship I have had after a car accident...my lawyer is still working on my case to get a settlement...anyways...I talked to a customer service rep that said my account was closed because my payment was not made..I asked her verbatum "am I screwed if I do not pay my account"...she said "yes"...I said "thank you and hung up"...I think this company is not what it used to be having been a member for ten years and have had them help me in the past..I think they are ma... read more

Lifelock does not and will not protect you from credit card fraud. They will tell you to call your bank or card provider. What they WILL do is: scare you to sign up; double bill you when you do; forget to create your account but charge you anyway; refuse to cancel your account and just before they do when you finally get them to, they bill you one last time even if it’s well before your billing date. Very difficult to cancel a subscription with them. Had to block the card used with their transactions to get rid of them, because they would not comply with cancelling my subscription. Felt like they held my ssn hostage. It is laughable that they behaved this way, and that I trusted them with my sensitive information. The joke was on me, but I will not use them again.

I called LifeLock because someone created a fake account created on their website in my name. After a couple of phone calls, I was finally able to get the cancel the account, but there were so unhelpful in regards to filing a fraud report. I was then connected to a supervisor who told me: "We can only help you if you sign up for our services". I was floored. They method used for verifying the person's identity is obviously inadequate.
