Let me start by saying that I was on hold for about an hour and a half to cancel my services. The representatives were polite but what if I had a real issue with my account and needed to reach out to someone about an alert received and needed to speak to someone? I would have to wait and hour and half for each time I had a question about my identity theft? they're clever marketing, nothing more. They have no way to contact any person to help you should you have any suspicious activity., Which was my experience. I had some strange activity show up on a credit report so I tried to reach out and there isn't even a phone number listed for them. After doing some research I learned that they're pretty much a scam and have been sued multiple times. 95% negative rating on BBB, without a single positive review, speaks for itself. This must be one of the worst companies available to protect your identity. I had my identity stolen and hoped I'd receive some help and solice by buying the services of LifeLock. To the contrary. The company allowed the individual(s) who stole my identity to CANCEL the service and protection I purchased from them by failing to properly screen the party who claimed to be me. My experience with LifeLock has been terrible. I have been trying to cancel my membership for over 2 weeks. I have emailed them through regular email I have used their portal and I have even called and talked to a live person trying to get this account canceled. I received a confirmation email that my account has been cancelled however the next month they tried to charge my credit card again. I had the same experience as some others. I emailed a cancellation to lifelock yesterday, but no return email came back. So I called them the next morning. The lady acted like a salesman on commission. She kept trying to get me to keep lifelock. She brought up all the things on the news, & what if someone gets my info, she wouldn't take no for an answer, we went round & round....blah blah blah. Paraphrase from supervisor Shenay: If someone has used your personal information to create a fake ID and make fraudulent purchases YOU need to take care of it. (emphasis added) (I took notes but could only talk and write so fast) Background: Four weeks ago I had a data breach and thousands of dollars of merchandise was charged in my name. Lifelock hacked me. They pulled a payment on a closed subscription from ******and then "can't find the payment". These are the people who are supposed to protect my identity? They are the only entity illegally taking my money at the moment... The Lifelock representative suggested I call ******to work it out! Nice...

After 3 years as a loyal customer my account was cancelled without ANY warning. When asked why they cancelled my membership I was told it was due to a wrong phone number. After 3 years as a customer I would expect some other communication as they did have my email address. Also I believe the account was cancelled in error since I was still getting alerts which means they had my phone number. I have subscribed to the "priority Membership" for many years. Over the holidays I received multiple alerts on my account and when I attempted to call Lifelock to check the alerts, all of my call were routed to OFF-SHORE CALL CENTERS because the U.S. CALL CENTERS WERE CLOSED DURING THE BUSIEST SHOPPING DAYS OF THE YEAR.
