It’s impossible to cancel within their policies. Customer service is terrible. After a month they tell me they can’t cancel because we subscribed under a third party, but won’t tell me who the third party is.
I do NOT recommend wasting your money with this service. I signed up after I had my identity stolen back in September. I handled all the credit card mess since it happened before I became a lifelock member. *********** recently notified me that I had a drop in my credit score and a collections on my account. Somehow, someone was able to open a Comcast account in my name and social in Florida in February of 2020 while I was a member and allegedly being monitored and kept safe. This company is not all they say it is. I have to turn in on constantly.
I have been a lifelock client for many years. I recently learned that my license has been suspended for 11 months. Lifelock should have warned me first that my license which they have monitored was supposedly suspended and second that because of that I was in collection. This has caused me a lot of trouble now that I want to buy a home. I received an email from Lifelock yesterday stating my account was cancelled for non-payment with a link to restart my membership. I wasn't sure why it cancelled, but I clicked the link and it brought me to a landing page to sign up my new membership, which I did. I was concerned that all my information and settings from the previous account would be lost, so I logged in with my "new credentials". I just renewed my Norton 360 with Life Lock. I called and asked to speak with someone in the US and got told that I can't. I don't like giving my information out to overseas people.
WORST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER. 100% incompetence at all levels. Disgraceful and disrespectful to our Military.
God help you if you ever try to get a refund, because they repeatedly turn on your auto renewal. They hide behind any excuse and circular web pages to avoid you. I could never trust them again if they are this slimy to hold onto their money. Never again.
Buyer beware. I heard the tv ad “lifelock and norton are now one”. Do I picked the middle plan 19:95 per month. Next I called Norton to see how I got the download for my pc antivirus. They told me I didn’t have it. I only signed up for the life lock plan that didn’t include the pc antivirus. Do I went back and looked and the prices per month ranged dramatically.
