Ordered a pool online June 5th. Advertisement said 6-9 days shipping. It has not shipped ( false advertisement). Customer service is a joke. Have talked to 3 different people who speak broken English and give different answers about shipping each time and will not put me in touch with a supervisor. Starting to think the online website for Leslie Pools is a scam. I have requested my payment back but so far no luck.
As it pertains to their testing of your water and their recommendations of chemicals.its a scheme. On a Thursday, spent $80 on chemicals, per their testing, to clear green algae. Was supposed to be clear by Monday, again according to them. It wasnt and I followed their instructions to the minute and measurement. Went back for another water test, was told the first set of instructions were wrong and was advised to purchase another $80 worth of chemicals to fix their first mistake. Its a scam.
Bought a pool blanket on their website in April. They promised delivery in 2-3 weeks, but they never did. I cancelled the order with their customer service (outsourced, uncooperative and misinformed), got a case number, only to see them charging my credit card two weeks later. I called them again and they promised to cancel the charges but they never did. I filled a dispute with my credit card company and within a week they agreed to refund me. I bought a robotic cleaner from Leslie's since it was pretty expensive. I figured if I had a problem I could go to a local store for help vs just purchasing it from some unknown on the internet. The product came on time, but was missing one set of filters. Their website shows two different sets of filters and the description says two filter options. I paid to have Leslie’s open and close my pool. The man that came did not do job correctly. Left my cartridge in all winter long took video of it I called I was told a manager will call me back. No one calls I left messages emails and everything they then say they don’t show a service order. How do I have a receipt, text message confirmation, and a final survey text for my service. I bought a house with an above ground pool late summer. When we moved in the pool and all it’s parts were working fine. As first time pool owners we had Leslie’s come to close it for us for the winter. Unfortunately, I did not watch the gentleman who came to close it for us. I will NEVER order from this store again. The website show a shipping date of 5/21 for a pool liner and it wasn’t after I called several times, was I notified that I wouldn’t receive until August. Now they are refusing my cancellation. Their customer service is outsourced and HORRIBLE. I want a complete REFUND for the pool liner.
How do I put into words my experience with these backwards bozos??? Some mid 50's clearly inept, too lazy to read white man, knocked on my door at 8:30 am on May the 20th to clean our pool. A pool we do not have!! Despite a sign clearly stating "do not knock on this door we have an ill person living here".
