Don't tell you your costs for bloodwork and then send you a bill for $3,707.00. This is the sleaziest company in the world.

Ran around in circles with billing via email. After upfront payment of $96 in the Amarillo location for bloodwork (including the Cascade test, which was more expensive as it consists of several tests together), I get a bill for over $200. I email billing -- essentially "oops, we double-billed, you owe us $100" -- and never get an answer on where that extra $100 came from except that somehow my doctor ordered additional testing, or the Cascade *may* require additional testing (which, the tests given as additional tests were o... read more

Lab Corp of America is a rip off. I have my insurances thru GEHA- government insurance. For blood work, we use the services of ***** *********** , which is FREE. Whenever my daughter has blood work done they send her to lab corp. Then the bills keep coming. we receive at least 4 billings for a total of some $400. each time. This seems like a scam. Long wait even with an appointment. Workers don’t honor appointment and and states that she is the only one here. No one at front desk to check in or ask questions.. workers in the back laughing having a good time while the waiting room is filling up

I qualified for 80% financial assistance which was supposed to apply through the end of next month but they did not apply it to my next invoice and sent me a past due notice while I waited for them to do so. I ended up waiting three weeks for customer service to respond to my email which included a copy of my assistance letter and then had to call again and was told they essentially only have time to answer the phone but not to check email or faxes. They are very understaffed and do not fulfill their commitments.

LabCorp says they accept Medicare: https://files.labcorp.com/labcorp-d8/insurance_lists/SouthernCalifornia.pdf I got an outrageous bill for $1,477 because these services are NOT covered by Medicare! I tried to prevent it when Medicare sent me the Summary Notice for September 2019, but LabCorp said they would not do anything without a bill. The bill wasn't generated untill 11JAN20. If I could give this company 0 stars I would! I have been dealing with Lab Corp billing me for services rendered and I do not have a co-pay! I'm disabled and the frustration I've experienced with their rude staff not to mention a grievance I filed through my insurance company with no resolution has caused me upset and anxiety! The problem I've had dates 2 years or more! I've spoke with them, my insurance company has spoke with them and they have yet to fix the problem with their billing practices!
