******** and Labcorp see to be the same company. I received a bill saying my claim was denied by *****. ***** said they paid on the claim in September and sent a check to ********. There is no way to reach ********. Labcorp said that ******** never transferred the money to them. I spent an hour back and forth from ***** to Labcorp. After reading about ******** and Labcorp on yelp reviews I think something is really wrong here. This lab was where my doctor sent lab work for testing. They didn't submit my bill to my insurance company until after I called them with that information. Then, I paid a third of the bill. Approximately a week later, I was sent to a collection agency. Next, I got another nasty letter from the collection agency. I paid the balance. A month later, I got another nasty letter from the collection agency as if they didn't receive the balance. Again, the letter was threatening. This business is noting but a gold-digging inconsiderate corporation. I paid a bill and they sent the money back in a check, a nd at the same time started dunning me by mail and by telephone message, and I paid it again and STILL the threatening calls came. And this is for the magnificent sum of $7.11 - which I already tried to pay. When you call, they say 3 minutes wait. After 8 minutes wait I gave up. They give you a website labcorp.com/billing - which does not even exist. The problem is of course that I do not choose them... read more

I have had very bad experiences with this laboratory. One time they mixed my blood test with someone else's and I had to take many medical tests unnecessarily because of it because I had to prove I didn't have bone cancer. Another time, an inexperienced technician took 15 minutes trying to get blood. That was the last time I ever went there..

The LabCorp of America is a scammer company when it bills a patient for services. The company does not allow for insurance billing or questions from consumers so they can charge a full price a not a negotiated charge for your insurance.

I will not be using this company for any further Lab work. The billing procedures used by this company require a great deal of time and attention from the consumer - as others have stated, there is a tendency to bill quickly and aggressively and to treat the customer as if they are neglecting to pay bills that have either already been paid or have been documented as not the patient's responsibility. I will never step foot into this place again. Dirty, depressing and full of sad people waiting. What is the point of an appointment if people are queued up waiting for an hour anyway? Nobody was at the desk to greet new patients and nobody seemed to care at all. I would not trust this skeezey company with any of my medical info. Disgusting.

The LabCorp of America is a very aggressive company when it bills a patient for services . The company does not allow for insurance billing or questions from consumers. Within 30 days of a filing from an affiliated lab, the company begins sending past due notices and collection notices in frantic spasmodic written form to all known addresses of the patient. I have been billed $169.82 from this company for a test I never received. My doctor referred me for a colorectal exam (mailer) and they billed my insurance for an HPV exam. It was denied and I have spent 10 months writing and phoning them, copying my insurance EOB's with no response from them other than turning me over to their collection agency. It took them 8 months to provide my doctor with the results of my test. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. Worst I have ever dealt with for services.
