My mother who is 79 and widowed thought she had a furnace issue, I called Service Experts and paid $95 for them to come out. They told me that there were 2 gas leaks plus a carbon monoxide leak, the fan was locked up and the heat exchanger was too small. They then sold her a $12,000 furnace to be installed the next day. I told them I was going to get a second opinion and to cancel the appointment. They put air ducts in my house November 25 when they put it in they cracked my ceiling. When I called them they have done nothing but given me the runaround. They have been screening my calls because they know that they are responsible for my ceiling. Every time I call it's ohh take my phone number and will call you back. They sent me a bogus text saying a carpenter is going to call you and I never hear from them . I wish you could see my ceiling it's terrible and there supposed to replicable business.

Terrible service. Paid several thousand dollars in August 2021 for two premium systems both with 2 year service contracts. Firstly, took several calls and weeks to get job completed. Have already called for repair service three times in 1.5 years. On each service request I have to explain/prove that I have a service contract. Tech usually late or doesn't call or show up. Heater stopped working, sometime early morning Friday, Dec 23rd. It was 15 degrees! At 0615, Called to schedule service. Again had to prove service contract... read more

Called Comfortech in September because A/C on the new property was not working. They came out on a Saturday which was great. After looking at the unit Rep explained that we would be better off getting a new unit. He explained if we got the unit, we would be charged a monthly fee for the unit and not have to come out of pocket for such a huge purchase. Kevin and Crystal came as a team to investigate a potentially serious furnace issue. They did a thorough review and gave us great advice to help us make the best decisions for our benefit and not just trying to sell us something we didn't really need. We were impressed by Kevin's knowledge and technical skill. He even identified the correct manufacturer even though the unit was mislabeled! We know we can trust Crystal and will be calling her when it's time for a new system (and any advice we need in between).

Came home to a cold house,called for some service.Technician shows up to diagnose my broken furnace.Was charged $300 for that.After just ten minutes i am told that my inducer motor has failed.Then i am told that there is no stock in Canada and that i would have to pay $1400 to get a new one.ridiculous.i was able to find one on my own for $150 in the city and i install it in about half an hour.i wont be asking this company to do any work in the future.

Started business with this company back in October. Had them come out to address a heat issue, techs were great, got everything fixed promptly and were very friendly. Paid my $400+ bill happily because it made sense. Called again December 2nd to schedule them to come out for maintenance, they got me signed up for their package at $15 a month back in October and figured it was time. Thermostat was on the fritz, wouldn't turn off the heat when it was supposed to, it's getting cold out. Tech comes out they dp the maintenance do... read more

Technicians are very knowledgeable, kind and respectful. They do a very thorough job and explain things well. Scheduling is fairly easy although I had a challenging scheduling from the website, but they rescheduled with me and all is well. Happy customer.
