NEVER GO TO STOKES HODGES KIA AT 5425 JEFFERSON DAVIS HIGHWAY IN BEECH ISLAND IN SC. I WAS THERE YESTERDAY, HAD A APPT AT 10:30 TO TEST DRIVE A CAR I WAS GOING TO BUY. WHEN I GOT THERE I TALK TO A SALEMAN AND DID NOT KNOW ABOUT MY APPT. I ASK FOR THE MANAGER AND HE TOLD ME IT WAS SOLD THE NIGHT BEFORE. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. THERE DONT KNOW WHAT THERE ARE DOING. I GAVE THEM A STAR, BUT REALLY I WOULD GIVE THEM -5. NEVER WILL GO THERE AGAIN.
PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS KIA DEALER FOR SERVICING OR TO BUY A VEHICLE! I took my KIA Soul in to be serviced for a specific concern. They kept the vehicle for 3 days and did not notify me at all! I had to call them several times just to get updates. The staff was so unprofessional. One staff even spoke to me as if I was secretly dating the representative who handled my repair, she questioned me about him and spoke extremely harsh. They would not fix your vehicle. They take too long and some of their staff are very rude. I would not recommend shopping at Kia for many reasons. All they do is make promises, they do not return your call and you would personally have to visit the building to get what you need. They are very inconsiderate. I needed to buy a car and I went to Kia of Augusta. I am on a strict budget and I was there to test drive a ********* at 11am. I sat around for an hour because it was “Being cleaned” so the sales person discussed numbers with me. Initially I was told the monthly payments would be in my range so I decided it would work. They were really working with me as I was dealing with insurance from a car accident and I was overall happy. I received a letter in the mail of a recall for my 2014 Kia Optima Turbo. Took my car to Kia of Augusta. Two weeks later my car stalled I had it towed to Kia of Augusta on October 29, 2022 . The first advisor I had was Kevin he stated that my engine need to be replaced and it would take almost 4 weeks before anything could be done. Kia of Augusta had My car scheduled for a service. For 12-28-22 and now they have called to reschedule. And the nearest appointment they can give me is 1-19-23. My cars check engine light is on and this is the second time,so and it's the same code which they said nothing was wrong and its back on again. And I feel like Kia of Augusta is blowing me off. Lying scammers, they have you fill out credit application online, prequalify you, give you a price range then call you have you come in then tell you the pre-qualification you filled out doesn't count. The lie on the radio. Kia of Augusta is just full of it. Stay away!!!!
I would leave NEGATIVE stars I would. I was in contact with 4 individuals. Shannon (gm), isis, Angel (sales) and Calvin (Kevin?) the only one who gave me any information or was tentative to me was isis. There really needs to be a 0 stars button!! I will not ever recommend KIA of Augusta to anyone!! First of all we have only had our KIA for maybe 3 years and the motor locked up sometime in March. The Kia sat in our yard until about the first week in April as this was the soonest Kia could get our car in to look at (which is understandable with everything going on).
