Takes forever to get a claim very bad insurance. The claim representative is nowhere to get in touch same with the state farm adjuster always voicemail and even you leave a message they will never call you back. Dont believe what they said “ Like a good neighbor State Farm is there” After this claim I will find another insurance company they just want your premium but when you need them they will put you aside they will just said we are working on it for how long more than a month now no estimate yet. Purchased ins from upstate **for my new home in *** Realtor calls to le me know the State Farm agent always tours the property. He was given the code and had complete access. All is OK per the office. We close on Aug 12, 2022 and UNBEKNOWNST to us State Farm cancels our policy. Yup, just cancels it, over the roof, which had been professionally inspected AND inspected by their own agent! The mail didn't come until August 26th. WE NEVER GOT A CALL. Told me at first that I had no deductible because of a Uninsured driver. Then I went to the repair shop and was advised by the repair shop that I had a $250 deductible. Then I called back to State Farm and was advised that my deductible was $200. They hung up multiple time sheik on the call with them. Requested t have a rental car. Called the next day enterprise advised they had nothing documented for a rental for me. Call back to State Farm they set it up after I called back. Have had 3 roofing companies inspect our roof for hail damage. They all have found it obvious hits on shingles, soffit, gutters, chimney topper, etc. on both the house and our shed. The shed had shingles off as well. We have had 2 State Farm adjustors out to look at the damage, and both had questionable takes on the roof (How can obvious hail damage be classified as normal wear and tear?). I was rear ended and it has been a nightmare to get repairs to my vehicle. No one knows what’s going on, I called repeatedly and they had my email address wrong, never received important documents, absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. I do not recommend them. If you are ever hit by someone with State Farm insurance, just get a lawyer involved.

They always took good care of my elderly father in law who had this insurance while he was alive. Upon his death, instead of sending a final bill to my grieving husband and I (something other companies did), they sent us a beautifully printed copy of his obituary with a lovely psalm on the back (he was a christian) along with condolences and automatically closed the account. With out a doubt the worst insurance company in the business. 30 years of payments 3 minor claims and nothing from them. Not worth even having insurance if this is your insurance company. Spend your money anywhere else.

State Farm deserves a 0 if I could give it. Specifically the ******* ** branch on **** ******s. My boyfriend and I have been going back and forth with them and corporate for TWO WHOLE WEEKS to get our bill corrected. In the end, we were still told we had to pay the incorrect amount because it had already been billed. Their UNMANAGED agents are simply messing up folks policies and not making any effort to fix it. We have been paying premiums to State Farm for over 47 years. This year State Farm cancelled our home owners insurance. The cancellation letter stated we had too many claims. We had two paid claims totaling $13,000 in 47 years. We were working with a roofing company/State Farm on replacing our roof. Many homes in our subdivision were in the process of getting new roofs due to a storm that had taken place in 2020. We filed our claim in the 1 year window.
