I filed a claim for water damage with State Farm on March 10th. After several calls to schedule an adjutor today, he called and said he had a family emergency and could not make it. These reviews should have a zero star option… it better a negative star option!! State Farm is an absolute terrible company to work with if you have to file a claim. My wife was involved in an accident in which one of State Farm drivers hit our car in the rear… three times actually. I never spend the time to write bad reviews but State Farms ineptitude has been one of the most time consuming and worst business experience in a very long time. Although I spent more than 47 days dealing with State Farm for a totaled vehicle, I still have ongoing issues. I was dropped for too many claims-AC leak, Water heater burst & another water heater leak. One I was given back my deductible due to the faulty water heater. State Farm is “Not a good neighbor and State Farm is not there” when you need them for what you paid for. The claims were not due to negligence and I had been a faithful customer for over 30 years. It's been a month since my accident and 10 days since my vehicle has been in the shop. I contacted State Farm 4 days ago to get the status of my vehicle and there has been no response. Very poor customer service.
I have been with State Farm for 6 months and I’ve only spoken to my agent twice. Both times has she basically degraded me and treated my like scum on the bottom of her shoe. Another company that doesn’t give a ****. Cares more about money then doing the right thing. Went to cancel my parents auto insurance because they passed away and the cars were sold. And I was their Power of Attorney and they refused to cancel and prorate it so I had to let the policy run out
Im a Statefarm customer. It’s hard to impossible to talk directly with your claim handler/inspector/appraiser. It’s harder to get in contact with their team manager or team supervisor. State Farm and it’s inspectors will make your life miserable in order to not pay for your damages.
