Dr. Shrout was great. He was knowledgeable and understanding about my issues. He was also kind. When he gave me a cortisone shot there was no pain.
Dr. Shrout explained in detail the procedures needed for my trigger finger. I appreciated his patience and compassion.
Front desk lady was disorganized and didn’t look us in the eye. Doctor was punctual and very kind.
Dr. Shrout explained the wrist problem in detail which I appreciate. He explained the importance of wearing the wrist brace especially at night during the most numb period of the 24 hours. He explained surgery is not indicated at this time and to return in six weeks to follow up. He answered all my questions.
Very happy with Dr Shrout overall. He was kindly receptive to all my mom questions, gave what I felt were deeper explanations about a bone break’s healing trajectory and handled a nervous 12 yo very well . He wasn’t the least bit condescending and his tech who cut and wrapped a new cast was lovely and patient. Thank you!
Dr. Shrout has done two surgeries for me that went absolutely flawlessly and I still see him to get second opinions on other Drs. I consider him a wonderful resource

I highly recommend Dr. Shrout. He is an excellent Doctor and Surgeon. He has good communication skills and takes time to explain any questions you may have I had rotator and bi-cep surgery on 07/07/23 and my Cuts are minimal due to his skill and the number of procedures he has performed. My prescriptions were sent to the pharmacy ahead of time and were sufficient to help minimize the pain which helps the recovery process. His PA was available by telephone to answer any concerns or questions I had. Thank you.
