My 2016 Colorado sat for 10 weeks in their shop for an electrical problem. I had to call GM customer service who finally got an engineer to come in and figure out the problem .The after market fog lamps caused a short and they finally replaced the right parts.They did not charge me for the rental car or other parts they thought were the issue originally, but there were weeks that went by without an update on my vehicle.
