THIS IS AS BAD AS UNIVERSITY IN LOUISVILLE, if not WORSE!!!! I was in the infusion center. The female that thought she knew how to insert the needle in my arm apparently thought she was using an ice pick, digging for gold in a rock!!! She was digging downward in my vein as I was screaming for her to stop. She continued to torture me. She only stopped to say she couldn't get it. Something must be wrong with my vein! On April 21st 2016 my husband and I were blessed with two things: our precious daughter Lillian and the staff of HMH. We were not expecting to have our baby 10 weeks early but she was coming anyways. The wonderful staff of HMH and the NICU unit blessed me with a beauitful baby girl. If the NICU unit was not available here i would of suffered dearly through 7 long weeks, but do to the generous donations I was able to spend everyday with my daughter with less stress and worry. My husband is currently hospitalized after having a posterior cervical fusion. He has had the most compassionate team of nurses and the best neurosurgeon hands down. To the entire staff on the 5th floor, keep making magic! YOU make the difference in the healing process. I guarantee you would not get better care elsewhere. We have been extremely pleased with his care here at HMH.
I've never seen such kind and caring individuals. From top to bottom, this hospital is top notch!
This has to be the worst hospital in the world!!! It's a joke. Staff take their sweet little time doing whatever it is that doesn't consist of patient care. You wait forever and once triaged there still isn't any nurses that are going to come in to access you for over an hour. If you happen to walk up on the nurses station needing something they look at you with a deer in headlights look and still don't bother to ask what you need. This is a great place to go if you want to lay in a bed in the hallway in the ER for 4 hrs and not so much as have a nurse come check on you. Or if you go to the nurses station to check on your care, you can expect to be ignored while the staff play with another staff members baby. I thought hospitals provide health care. Maybe I'm wrong in that assumption. Apparently some people are more important than others. Do yourself a favor and go to a different facility
