I have been to this hospital many times over the past couple years and it's usually an okay experience. The experience in the ER this time was awful. I was in pain and throwing up. The first time I waited for my medicine, it took over an hour. The second time, I waited two hours and my nurse never came back with my medicine. I asked numerous times and screamed in pain. My experience on the 5th floor was good. They cared about my health.
I've never once had a bad experience here! Everyone has always been so nice and helpful! From er visits to giving birth.

Was there for over 8 hours after car accident, not one time did I ever see a doctor. Just a nurse and only saw her once. Finally I unhooked myself , got dressed and left, went to another hospital who found that I had cracked a bone in my arm.. this isn't the first time this has happened. Do they even have any doctors working there?? Worse experience ever. I wouldn't take my dog there, I love him too much.
Repeat colonoscopy at HMH in OSEC and was treated wonderfully. Thank you to my nurses Stacie, Gwen and Dr. Karen Johnson. The entire experience was quick and would recommend anyone to go there!
I have waited over 8 hrs in the past just to get seen. My father waited long enough one time to see a dr and he left. This hospital is a joke. I'm sure they are going to suck more money out of people to pay for the ER upgrade. Over priced and poor quality health care. Even the urgent care clinics suck. Go to Louisville if you can.
Thankful for the caring nurses and doctors at HMH.
The ER is a nightmare. I've had my mom there several times. The staff in the ER would rather sit or stand in the nurses station and talk about summer trips, world news too many topics to name. Last visit there was 15 hours, moms 92. Not until the 3rd shift came on, did anyone pay attention to us. Thank you to one very caring nurse, she got the wheel running
