We live in Meade Co. we go to H.M.H. for just about everything.
The worst Hospital ever I will Never go back was having seizures they admitted me then the Dr on call refused to give me my Pain medication when I asked why he told me it was because he said so was rude so I transferred to another hospital and they said there was no reason for him refusing my medication.
Take your chances go to Louisville this is the worst ER in the country
I had breast cancers surgery in Stepember of last year, From the staff to the Radiations department,I couldn't have ask for more love and understanding then I got from HMH...From all the encouraging words to the up building I recieved made me feel less stress,Believe me I was scared to the point that I wanted to give up a few times,But all the staff kelp telling me "you can do this". Customer service level is just bad all around. This place is just getting worse and worse by the day.
I think HMH is a extremely well equipped hospital with excellent staff. I usually get into the back at the ER daily quickly but realize there will be times I have to wait due the fact that the back might be full when I arrive, arrivals by EMS, and persons worse off determined by triage. Not every call they make is correct. Everyone feels they are the priority. I just got out this week when I went to the ER I waited 4 hrs in the waiting room but they went ahead and did blood and an X-ray to expedite me when I got in the back ... read more
Came in through the ER with severe abdominal pain and ended up having emergency surgery. I am in my room awaiting my release but I cannot say enough about the staff in the ER, surgical floor and 5th floor. I am beyond pleased with my treatment. Absolutely the best experience I have ever had. Thank you!!!!!
I understand a 2:00-4:00 quiet time for hospitals, but including Labor & Delivery??? My brother and sister-in-law drove all the way from Ashland to witness the birth of their son's first baby and had to leave just minutes before he was born. Apparently, someone forgot to inform babies of the policy. How sad to put such a damper on an exciting family event.
