My power is out between Kernan rd and girvin rd.
I called today to switch from beaches energy to jea. Im figuring my deposit wont switch over so i ask how much my deposit is going to be. Only to be informed that it would be 530 dollars. Now that is more literally than ive paid in total all year for power. My question is how do you expect anybody to have that much cash for a deposit? My answer, jea takes the average bill for the location your moving, AND DOUBLES IT!!!! So much for this bullshit ass, bias, mother fucking american dream. I have had JEA electric and water/sewer service for over 18 years and have always experienced excellent customer service and excellent utility reliability. We have been without electric service only a handful of times in almost 2 decades and those were during terrible storms and for less than 2 hours each. I've lived in several other cities, Miami, NYC and Boston and JEA's service is the best and the prices are the lowest. I love JEA!
