Jea will charge you for water you don't even use there's no possible way that much water has been run from a vacant house! CRIMINALS.........

JEA is THE WORST utility company I've ever used. The billing department is a sick JOKE. Had utilities shut off with a zero due balance for non-payment. WHAT? How does that even make sense!? Zero balance means IT IS PAID. They don't even give a warning or notice. This isn't even the first time it's happened! Can't wait to move out of Jacksonville and get back with FPL. Never had any of these problems with Florida Power and Light.

I have had the poorest experience with this account. From constant power outages to problems with their online billing. Let's just say that I am currently in the market for solar for my home. Rate wise, I guess they are fair, however for the number of times that my power has been out and not been compensated for the inconvenience, I would say that they are over-charging. The customer service people are polite, but I think that they are limited in ability as I have never been able to get resolution without talking to someone ... read more

I have no issues with the service, response times and rates. JEA does a very good job by far compared to the rest of the public utilities I have had. However, the recent upgrades to the website are poor. The response times are terrible, the system always is slow or down, and the bill pay feature does not work well with Mac Safari. Please upgrade to fix these problems, because the new and improved version is far from that.
