the due on the bill is never right.....they bill when ever they want to no 30 or 28 day cycle at alllllll
Customer service via the phone is horrible, they are rude and don't care about what you say. I asked them why I hadn't received a disconnection notice and they said "Ma'am we sent one out on the 15th" 4 days before my bill was due! YOU SENT ONE BEFORE THE BILL WAS DUE REALLY!? And then told me you called my homephone... we DON"T have one! I asked my room mate if he had recieved a call from you and he said no he hadn't! I was lied to over the phone. Nothing more than a monopoly that takes advantage of the fact that they are the ONLY utility company in Jacksonville. They dont care about their customers because they dont have any competition. Gotta love the bonuses they get right after raising rates.
They shut my electric off in the middle of the summer with a new born in the house and wouldn't turn it on until I paid them the 300 dollar bill and $600 deposit. Who the fuck has 900 laying around? Its a fucking monopoly.

Jea is the worst company I have ever dealt with. There customer service is incompetent, slow and they could care less about you, there only in to get rich from the poor. Shame shame!!
