Jackson Hewitt is a total rip off. DO NOT GO for your tax service. I had a very simple return with four w-2s and a ****. It took her less than an hour to do and she wasnt even clear on my deductions and I had to ****** myself and tell the client what I could claim. I ask another location located inside ******* and was told a return should be no more than $250. They charged me $500 for a $724 federal return. They then charge a so called bank fee just to handle your return and send to your bank. Same thing the *** does for fre... read more

I went to Jackson Hewitt last year for the first time. Im a single mom. I dont own a house, I rent. They had an offer if you were a first time customer you get $100 off. I didnt get that. Then I told her I was upset with H&R Block charging me $400 every year for my taxes. She didnt say a word she then did my taxes and charged me $581!! So now I have to go and find another tax service. But both HRBlock and Jackson Hewitt can ki$$ my @**
