I wish I could give 0 stars. I took the form **** into the local office on 5/14/21 and paid them a additional $25 to fill it out and fax the ****-A with it to the **** I told the lady who was the office manager multiple times not to file a amended return & that all I needed was the form filled out & faxed to the number on the letter from the **** She assured me that's all she did. Worst tax service I've ever used. They charged me $250.00 to do a ammend return of which I was to get $44.00 back from my state. Just got a notice from department of revenue for $237.00 I now owe. Tried to reach out to them and all there offices locally are closed. The only number I was able to get ahold of them no one answered.

If I could give no stars I would I’ve been with Jackson Hewitt for years and have been audited twice and both times the tax “pro” which was the area manager forgot to submit documents to the irs resulting in a further delay in my return, this year specifically I spoke to the manager and told him which documents needed to be resubmitted and the IRS told me they never received them! NEVER AGAIN! I paid all this money to get my taxes done and have to deal with this crap

The worst tax preparation company out there! You give them your driver's license and they cant type in the information correctly. And what do you they do to fix it, not a single thing!

Want to give Jackson Hewitt no stars! Worst tax preparation ever! This year 2021 I did my taxes with them first I did it , I left they call me next day saying something got kicked back, so I go back n they said they corrected everything. I been waiting on my refund abd come to find out they did something wrong n now I owe money n I found out today 5Aug! Pissed off! Don’t go to Jackson Hewitt they don’t know what they are doing.

They are terrible after 16 years of using them they made a mistake on tax preparation and now they want cover it and I have to pay back $2500 to the irs.Dont deal with them.We got your back is a lie.They will pay the interest and give you a free coupon for the next year.WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP.

The preparer didnt inform me I had 157.00 in il taxes or give me the receipt to mail in to pay it after paying them 605 dollars I'm now looking at a paper from the dept of revenue saying I owe them 173.35 with interest and fees me and my husband are disabled and cant pay this I was under the impression my taxes were completed for this I've been a loyal customer for over 7 years I'm am livid with this result you only think you should have to pay the tiny interest and late fees on but I'm responsible for this tax I wasn't told... read more

Still in the midst of an absolutely horrific experience with Jackson Hewitt in *******************. Dropped off my taxes in February, and after a couple months of no response via email and voice mail, I drove to the office to try and find the status of my filing, and apparently the office was shut down (and relocated to another larger branch in town).
