I went to Jackson Hewitt's office in Walmart Bristol ******** on February the 22nd and had my taxes done. I was told that I should get an advance within one hour which would of been around 8 pm. I never received the advance. I have used Jackson Hewitt for the last couple years. Our taxes have had a lot of complex issues between starting new business and closing prior ones. Moving, kids, etc... Whether we went in office or online they have always explained things very well and answered all our questions.

The 1st two years with Jackson Hewitt were pretty good. However this year, when my return got more complicated, the return had mistakes. I've driven out to the **************** twice to get corrections done. Supposedly an amended return was completed, I've been given no updates even though I've called their office more than 3 times, sent numerous emails to the person (***************************) who supposedly submitted the amendment and filed my claim as I paid for the assurance guarantee which is supposed to reimburse cus... read more

Jackson Hewitt in ********** area is so HORRIBLE they DO Not handle Business Professionally! The Manager ONLY care about meeting their Numbers to get Bonuses ! Their office locations are very Dirty and they dont care about Safety the Police was there and they are violating people Confidentiality tax paperwork its a MESS! Jackson Hewitt is back to old tricks to what constitutes as fraudulent practices. Ive had no problems in past yrs. but with the guarantees they offered with hesitation I paid the absorbent fees. This 2021 tax season however has left me feeling like some shadiness going on. I filed my taxes electronically and it was stated to me that my funds would come into my account electronically within 5 to 7 business days, But that didn't happened,So i am requesting a full return back on the fee that i paid which was $239, I need to get in touch with Mr. ****** to get my refund back of a fee that i paid up ********* i am told the *** will mail it to me.

I wouldn't go as far as saying it's a Tax Service! On February 21, 2022 at 11:00 we had an appointment at this branch. The ****** seemed nice we went through giving the necessary for my Taxes. The 1st. thing was the charge she had no clue how to use Apple Pay! This should have a sign. 2nd. I had asked for the ****EZ some how she got me Fed-Deluxe Package with out saying anything. 3rd. If I could give 0 stars I would! I was TOTALLY scammed and it was did intentionally by the preparer and I have HARD CORE proof!! I am gonna give them the opportunity to make everything right before I share the proof with everyone of the fraudulent activity that they did to me and my family!! We need every ***** we get back from our return to take care of our children, and so does millions of other families, so we can't stand for fraudulent "MISTAKES" !! First and last time using Jackson Hewitt to file our taxes. For a working family with minimal paperwork and investments that were documented on a single column of one page I was charged $568 in fees for this service. The only reason I chose to go to a professional was that we recently had twins and I knew the child tax credit would apply since we did not receive them and that the twins were also eligible for the 2021 stimulus payment.
